WinBidPro v15 is the third major Microsoft Windows release of the GDS Storefront Estimating System. Prior to this it was an MS-DOS program, and prior to that a CPM program!

WinBidPro is an entirely new program that keeps the same philosophy and concepts that GDS has always believed in. Our software has always been easy to learn, easy to understand and use, very flexible in terms of adding and changing information, and WinBidPro is no different. What has changed is its ability to handle larger, more complicated jobs, and newer, more complicated architectural systems. The architectural glass industry is evolving, so we must evolve with it!

What's New with WinBidPro v15.1.11? (Pulled for testing!)

1. Fixed “3704 Error” when opening the program. This was somehow caused by the “Show Detail Bubbles” box being checked in the Layout tab of the drawing window.

2. Fixed joint count in tall elevations, when elevation has splices. The splice won't be included in the joint count, but they will be accounted for in figuring splice hardware.

3. Fixed strange error “91” in DoorParts window caused by too many parts trying to load in the “Per Door Leaf” column.

4. Tried to correct strange problem where Elevation data would get wiped when opening a job.

5. Fixed typo in Export Options window in the “Export to a PDF” title.

6. Fix Null Erro bug when trying to print Labor Summary report from Print Reports window, and labor has not been processed.

7. Fixed “Final Summary Screen is already open” message when trying to print Final Summary report from Print Reports window.

8. Fixed bug with adding parts to Final Parts report. “Insert Part” button shows up again when the parts list is opened by right clicking on the add part window.

9. Fix bug when trying to update price of a manually added part to the Final Parts report.

10. Added code to prevent Job Name from getting dropped from Cut Pieces table that contains all cut parts for a job. This prevents an error when Optimizing with no job name.

11. Fixed Rake top cuts. Jamb and Vertical cut lengths were not the right size on all elevations.

12. Added code to update Edit Date field for Jobs when Height, Width, and Number of Panels is changed in an elevation.

13. Fixed problem where the original records that were Saved in Optimizer Cuts list were getting added back to the list after the “Get Elevation Parts” button was hit again. Now saved parts remain, and the original parts do not come back.

14. Fixed “Data Access Error” when clicking on a record next to a delete part in the Parts List.

15. Corrected problem with stock parts that are only one color when used in a job that has a different color. The program will now find the first available price for that part moving from left to right through the finish colors.

16. Fixed bug in Elevations form where deleting multiple elevations freezes program.

17. Changed behavior of clicking on a row in the Jobs window. Previously, the entire row would be highlighted, now just the cell you click on will be. Editing the job name is easier this way.
